1.      warm up

(1) Enjoy a cartoon film about worm<The other side>

T: Let’s enjoy a cartoon.

T: This is a cartoon film about snakes, worms or caterpillars.(PPT 出示)

S: This is a cartoon film about worms.

①Where do they live?—They live under the ground.

②What can they do?---They can dig tunnels.(T: When they dig tunnels, they help take care of the earth) (Dairy 1)

③What do they eat?---They like to eat the trash in the soil.

(2) T: Look! This is a worm, too. But he is a super worm. Because he can write diaries.

T: Today we will enjoy a picture book---DIARY OF A WORM.

  It was written by Doreen Cronin, and pictures by Harry Bliss.

2.      Presentation

(1)“The photos on the wall”

T: Look! This is the room of the worm. Can you see some photos on the wall? Let’s enjoy the photos/

T: Can you name these photos? (My family. My first tunnel. Baby picture. First day of school. The park.)

(2) T: Wow, nice pictures. These are some funny diaries about these photos. Now, choose one diary and read in pairs, then tell us: what is the worm like in the diary?(出示个性特点的pictures )

T: Which diary did you read?

S: We read”…”

T: OK. (PPT 链接:what  do you think of the worm? What is it like? Can you choose the pictures?)学生选择图片

T: Really? Is he …? Let’s see the diary.

(3)Three good things and three bad things about being a woman.
